Xin Point Group Oversea New Capacity Effectively Reduce Trade Risk

“Continuous improvement of the overseas production capacity layout” is going to be one of the most important company strategies for the coming years. During the current Sino-US trade conflict, Xin Point has the ability to expand production location options for customers, avoid high tariffs, and actively cooperate with localization production, successfully turning the crisis into an opportunity and laying a solid foundation for obtaining new orders in the future.

Currently, Xin Point has two oversea factories. The Mexico factory has completed capacity expansion and started to make profits in 2024, while the Malaysia factory is under construction according to the schedule and will gradually release spray painting and electroplating capacity by the end of 2025 and the half year of 2026.

The third spray painting line of the Mexico factory has started mass production since March 2025. During this Sino-US trade war, the Mexico factory played a crucial role, providing our customers with alternative production options other than China. Currently, the products exported from Mexico to the US still maintain the advantage of zero tariffs.

Meanwhile, the Malaysia factory is also accelerating the construction progress. Currently, it is installing spray painting and electroplating production equipment. At present, the tariffs on products exported from Malaysia to the United States are still somewhat advantageous compared to those from China. Thus Malaysia factory is also one of the preferred choices for customers. This factory focuses on injection molding, electroplating, spray painting and assembly processes, and is expected to start trial production of the spraying line in October 2025 and the electroplating line in December 2025.

In addition to the two oversea plants mentioned above, there are currently two factories in Jiujiang area, namely Jiujiang Xin Point Automobile Components Co., LTD and Jiujiang Xin Point Surface Decoration Co., LTD..

Jiujiang Xin Point Automobile Components Co., LTD focuses on injection molding, spray painting and PVD processes, and is good at producing large-size parts. Small batches deliveries started in April 2024, thereafter, bulk deliveries begun since March 2025. Jiujiang Xin Point Surface Decoration Co., LTD. has a small hexavalent-chromium-free plating line. Due to the fact that most European OEMs decided to postpone the introduction of this technology, we have decided to adapt this line for new program development. Meanwhile, a new project was assigned to this line and the mass production is expected to be in the first half of 2026.
